C&L Ward will install your windows or doors to your complete satisfaction. We guarantee they will perform on the day of installation and for as long as you own your home. If at any time a problem arises due to the quality of our installation of your windows or doors, C&L Ward will pay for the materials and labor needed to correct the problem.
In case of natural disaster or vandalism, homeowner insurance replaces your windows or doors. In case of abuse or misuse, this guarantee is void and the repair or replacement is paid by the homeowner.

Some things are not covered by this guarantee such as: damage caused by improper use or maintenance; accident; abuse or neglect; acts of God; fading of colored products due to normal weathering exposure; damage to the products caused by water leakage other than as a result of defective product or glass; high humidity; damage caused by airborne pollutants such as salt or acid rain; damage caused to the products by use of corrosive cleaning agents or exposure to harsh chemicals; damage to the products as a result of settling or structural failure of the structure in which the products are installed; or as a result of any unauthorized modifications to the products performed after initial installation. Any problems or defects that are a direct result of product manufacturing, and NOT the installation performed by C&L Ward, shall fall under the manufacturer’s written warranty. C&L Ward will not be responsible for the labor costs incurred to correct product failures or defects; these costs are the responsibility of the product manufacturer and/or homeowner. Guarantee is void if the window or patio door unit is removed from the structure in which it was originally installed by anyone other than an authorized C&L Ward installer.

To obtain help under this guarantee, contact your sales representative or the nearest C&L Ward showroom, or call our Service Department at 1-800-305-6931. We will contact you to investigate your claim within approximately two weeks after notification, and arrange for appropriate action.
When You Call, Please:
(a) Identify the product that is involved;
(b) Completely describe the problem you have experienced;
(c) Completely describe any attempts that have been made to correct the problem;
(d) Provide the address where the defective product or glass can be inspected, and your phone number so that we can contact you.

1. Notification of a Claim. You must contact C&L Ward within 30 days of placing the order to make a claim under the Best Price Guarantee. The competitor’s lower price must be available at the time you contact us, as determined by an authorized C&L Ward representative.
2. Must be “Apples to Apples” Comparison. The Best Price Guarantee is available only for product(s) and/or installation services that are considered identical comparisons (Apples to Apples). All product price comparisons must have the same manufacturer specifications and SKU’s. The Best Price Guarantee does not apply to bonus or free offers, special financing, rebates, close-outs, liquidations, auctions, or other limited quantity offers. If the price of your project includes installation services, this price should also include identical items that will be used during the installation such as interior & exterior trim materials, shims, sealants, insulation, flashing & debris disposal. In addition, all workmanship to be performed should be done by licensed, insured and accredited installers from national programs such as Installation Masters, AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) or VSI (Vinyl Siding Institute). The competitor’s workmanship warranty should be equal or greater than our Peace of Mind Guarantee which covers workmanship for as long as you own the home. This will ensure that we are comparing similar quality workmanship procedures, standards and warranty periods.
3. Verification of Claims. All requests are subject to verification by C&L Ward. C&L Ward will not accept “verbal” claims that cannot be verified by C&L Ward personnel. Nor will C&L Ward verify any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made in bad faith. All claims must be accompanied by the proper advertisement, detailed quote, or proposal for claim verification. Verified requests will receive a credit or refund for the difference of the proposed price. In addition, a One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) Visa Gift Card will be issued to the client. Limit: one (1) $100 Gift Card per customer.
4. Changes. C&L Ward reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior or notice or liability to you. The terms that are in effect at the time of your claim will determine your eligibility under the Best Price Guarantee. No change in the Best Price Guarantee will affect any Gift Card that has already been issued to you. The failure by C&L Ward to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
